Cruise!

We went on a cruise the beginning of Feb but I figured posting late is better than never :). It was just Drew and I and we booked it only a couple weeks before leaving for our "babymoon". It was so much fun! The weather was perfect, the strawberry daiquiris delicious, we watched the superbowl, we met lots of fun people, and the seven days were heaven! It was perfect timing because I was pretty much over the morning sickness so we were able to take full advantage of 24 hour eating! We went on Carnival and stopped in Belize to go snorkeling, Costa Maya to go jeeping, Honduras to sit on the beach, and Cozumel to go shopping.

Drew took full advantage of his soda card with unlimited Dr. Peppers.

We were about to buy this mayan stone chess set until we found the lovely bug crawling on it... yuck!

Drew absolutely loved the real Mexican food in Mexico! He tried to talk me into moving there so we could eat Mexican food everyday and be serenaded while doing it.

While the boat was taking us to the reef in Belize to snorkel we had two dolphins following us in the water... I didn't think this happened in real life!

Naps whenever you feel like it.. amazing!

Family Baby Shower!!

My sweet sister asked me the day she found out I was pregnant if she could do my shower. Little did we know she would be pregnant too but she still said she wanted to do it. Erin is due in August with a little girl.. it will be so much fun to have girl cousins so close in age!

It was so much fun seeing family and getting such fun presents! Of course her decorations were adorable and the food delicious (the eclairs even had little pink booties on them)! Thank you Erin, mom, and Robin for such a fun shower!

Who knew wrapping paper could be so entertaining!

Still missed a lot of people in pictures but thank you everyone who came for the fun presents! We can't wait to use all of them! This little girl is going to be super well loved (spoiled)!

March Madness!

Drew's family does a March Madness bracket competition every year and I won this year!! Thank you Louisville! I got my name engraved on the family plaque!

Ward Baby Shower!!!

I had the best ward growing up and they threw me a baby shower! Laura and Barbara offered to give me a shower and I was so excited to see everyone from the ward again! They decorated everything so cute and the food was delicious! Grateful for all of their hard work!

Of course I forgot to get my camera out until the end and my 5 year old niece offered to be the photographer :).

Baby Girl Putnam

Drew and I are so excited to have a baby GIRL in June 2013!!

We found out we were expecting on Oct 1. Drew came home from work and I had these balloons on the table. It took him a minute but he finally got it and was super excited.

We decided to tell our families on Halloween when I wore this shirt for my costume. Their reactions were great.. My parents took a second to catch on but were so excited, my sister saw just the collar bone at the top of my jacket and started screaming, Drew's dad was sleeping so we never really told him but his mom said "Oh cute shirt" without realizing there was a baby and after noticing jumped up and down, and we text my brother and all of Drew's siblings and waited for their phone calls back.

We found out it was going to be a GIRL on my birthday (Dec 10th) when we did a gender check ultrasound. The pictures they gave us were so cute and made us even more excited! Drew thought it was going to be a boy and I didn't really know but we are both so excited it's a girl.. Drew already calls her princess. My neice probably gave us the best reaction since she is the only girl with 6 boys in the family. She started screaming and is so excited to babysit already. Both our moms were secretly hoping for a girl so they were thrilled.

I was super sick from about 7 weeks to 12 weeks and then it slowly started to get better. Now at 17 weeks I can finally keep most things down if I eat small portions. I guess the one benefit was I never forgot I was pregnant I always had the constant reminder of nausea haha but she will be worth it! I like to think I am starting to show a little bit now but who knows. I still haven't felt any movement and am really excited to!

Drew is a good sport looking at bedding, outfits, etc. He gets excited talking about what he can make for the nursery. He is going to be such a good dad and she is going to have him wrapped around her finger before she is even here!
