I saw this questionaire on a friend's blog and since I can't download my recent pictures at work this will be my post instead because I am bored :)

What is his name? Pierson Drew Putnam

How long have you been together? since January 2008 I believe.. minus the three month break which we call Drew's brain fart haha

How long did you date? We dated for almost 2 years to the day (again minus the 3 month break)

How old is he? 24

Who eats more? I hope him!

Who said I love you first? He did.. I think.. neither of us really remember sad huh

Who's Taller? Drew.. even in my tall shoes which was a must

Who can sing better? Drew forsure but I still like to sing in the car with him

Who is smarter?depends on the subject.. street smarts and exercise I would have to say Drew.. Tv shows and nursing I think I would win haha

Who does the laundry? 95% of the time it's me unless I'm working and he needs clothes.. I hate folding socks though so they go in a box until he runs out and needs more

Who pays the bills? I do.. We split bills money wise but I pay his bills out of his checkbook for him

Who sleeps on the right side? I do

Who mows the lawn? Landlord

Who cooks dinner? Usually me but he can cook really good when he wants to... he usually makes our Sunday afternoon Mac n Cheese for us each week :)

Who drives? if he is in the car.. he is driving.. he hates when I drive and he scares me to death when he drives haha

Who is more stubborn?probably about equal so arguments will probably get interesting in the future

Who kissed who first? After dating for 3 months he kissed me.. it was upside down too.. He was sitting on the couch and I was on the love sac and I looked up and the whole thing was a blur... little weird

Who asked who out first? Well he was my server when I went to Iggys with my friends and I left my number on the ticket as a joke because we worked together.. then the next day he asked me out.. so kind of both I guess

Who proposed?He did of course

Who is more sensitive? Me by a long shot.. he is sensitive to my needs though which is perfect

Who has more siblings? him by 1

Who wears the pants? depends on the subject.. we are both pretty indecisive and like to decide things together

Family

Nixon is getting so big! He is such a happy baby and is always smiling this big.

Landon took a picture for kindergarten reflections and won! He was so proud! His picture is going on to the next round.. it looks professional to me!

He caught the bug and put it in the bush to take a picture.

Drew talked his family (who are all BYU fans) to run in the University of Utah Alumni 5k.

Clarissa and me... we're becoming good cheerleaders for all the stuff Drew does

They all finished!

Finishing up summer..

I love spending time with Drew! We had most of the day together Mon and so we decided to make the whole day a fun date. We went shopping at Target and took turns trying on halloween costumes.. cheap but so hilarious
Drew was scared we would get in trouble so he was looking out for workers but when he had the whole suit on one walked by and said he pulled it off great haha
Some of my favorite things about Drew are he is spontaneous and doesn't get embarrassed. He is always coming up with creative fun things to do :)

Later that night we ordered pizza and watched the Bachelor Pad finale together.. he is such a good sport.
Then we went up to the place he proposed and looked at the stars and city lights

A couple weeks ago we got together with Drew's cousins that live in Utah and had dinner at Crystal's. It was yummy food and fun to see everybody.

On labor day we had a BBQ at the Putnam's for Crystal's birthday. The backyard neighbors have a chicken and baby chicks.

First BYU game of the season! Such an awesome game and Drew was a good sport to come and cheer for BYU
It was fun to have my brother Matt in town for the game too.. We got to spend the weekend with him and my parents at the cabin.. so relaxing
I got to go to Swiss days for both days. The first day I went with Drew's mom and we saw everything in about 3 hours while the boys golfed. The second day was with my family and Drew. Love swiss days and my new headband, watch, bracelet, and fudge!

Prayers Answered

As many of you know from facebook I lost my wedding ring last week. I was working a night shift so I got there at 7pm and it was bath night. After giving both babies baths, changing their sheets, going to the bathroom a couple times, and walking all around the storage room I looked down at my lanyard and saw an open safety pin which my rings were always on. My heart immediately sunk and I started searching everywhere. I text Drew at 11:30 when I noticed and could tell his was ticked/ worried. I search through every garbage I had touched.. dirty diapers and all. I woke the babies up and looked in their beds, looked in the bathroom, looked in all the dirty linens, looked in the storage room, and told everyone I could find to tell me if they saw it. After looking everywhere I could think of and praying like crazy my mom happened to call and I starting bawling to her. My mom said she would pray too and at that point I felt like I looked everywhere I could so I went back to take care of my patients. About ten minutes later the resource nurse came running into the room yelling she found them. I ran up and hugged her and asked her where they were. She found them in the storage room under neath all these racks.
I learned I will never take my ring to work again and that prayers really are answered. My whole life I have heard stories about people praying to find various things but couldn't remember a time it had happened to me. I knew the Lord knew where it was and could answer my prayer if it was supposed to be answered. I know the Lord cares about me and knows me and knew how much that ring meant to me. I am so grateful for the little prayers that are answered and the Lord really cares about everything that matters to each of use.

Family Fun

Whitney came into town and did a show in Herriman so we went to watch... I also got a really cute pair of guitar pick earrings :)

Brynley.. I bribed her with nerds to smile.. whatever works
Earlier that day we went to the Putnam's for Jace and Sophies first birthday party. The BBQ was yummy and the kids were so cute opening presents and eating cake. I can't believe they are already one!

I love how he's eating the cake

Kauners 5th Birthday

Matt's family has been in Utah most the summer so we got to do Cam and Kauner's Birthdays here this summer. I can't believe Kauner is already 5! His birthday party was at a park with dinner and games for the kids. Landon and Kauner think they are so funny when they get together it cracks me up.
The cake Natalie made.. so cute! They even used dry ice to make smoke come out around the dragon.
Nat's also made capes for all the kids they all loved their adorable capes
When Brynley saw Drew she just backed away slowly without saying hi. She was scared of him and wouldn't even talk when normally she is all over him. When we saw her a couple days later after the splint was gone she kept asking where his bandaid went and said it scared her haha.

My cousin Ariel and me
The pinata was a dragon
Jason and Nixon

Kauner was so shy when everyone started singing to him. Cameron had been trying to catch a bee all day and finally he caught one and found out first hand that bee stings hurt and they shouldn't be caught.

Drew update

When Drew started feeling a little bit better he started getting inpatient with just laying on the couch so instead he sat in a chair and taught me and Clarissa how to put up a tent so we could sweep it out. I'm just glad he started feeling a little better finally when they gave him the right medications.
We tried coming home Sunday (almost a week after surgery) and he lasted about 3 hours before he said it was really hot in our apartment and he didn't have a comfy couch. We called Drew's parents and his mom said come on over again. We ended up staying until the next Saturday because I worked three of the days.
We went to the doctors on Tuesday and they said his mouth looks great and pulled the stints out of his nose. We had thought they weren't putting stints in so we were surprised when this HUGE piece of plastic was pulled out. Drew looked like it hurt pretty bad but the doctor said he was surprised he was smiling when he walked in. I guess most patients a week out are still hating life. Drew never had much bleeding so we are really lucky! He finally wanted to drive so bad that he didn't take a pain pill for 6 hours so he could drive to Smiths. He has his splint off his nose now too and the first couple of days it was crazy to look at him because I never knew him when he had a straight nose! It's super straight now and looks great. He's back to normal two and a half weeks later but says he wouldn't have done it if he knew had bad it would be. He starts work this weekend and already started school. Back to real life :(
Sure glad we decided to wait and do surgery in the summer instead of 10 days before we got married! We're grateful Drew's family let us stay so long too! It was fun to always have entertainment and someone to talk to when Drew hurt to talk.
