3 Weeks Left...

I can't believe it's come so fast! I thought it would never come and now it's only 3 weeks away. Everytime we move a batch of things into our apartment it becomes a little more real. I'm so excited but scared out of my mind at the same time! Let's cross our fingers that everything goes as planned now.

Here are some of our bridal pictures. It was absolutely perfect.. I wanted snow and it snowed the night before so we had fresh snow and the only snow until this week. It was freezing but well worth it.

For everyone that needs to know the details...

We are getting married on Jan. 2nd 2010 in the Salt Lake Temple at 11:40. We are doing the family lunch after at Old Mill at 2:30 pm and then the reception is at Woods on Ninth from 6:30-9:00pm. Hope that is enough details for anyone that has to travel!

We found an apartment!

We finally found and put a deposit on an apartment! It made this whole marriage thing feel so real! It's a basement apartment right by fashion place mall (perfect placing) and it even has a garage which was Drew's selling point. Drew was also excited it has a huge pantry.. it's like he thinks i'm going to cook. Just kidding I'll do my best and he told me he liked experimenting so he'll have lots of it with dinners. Internet and cable are included so we don't even have to sacrifice those being poor married students! Now we get to start the fun part of finding furniture and decorating.

Rose Passing

For my sorority when you get engaged they do a rose passing and then get to ask you questions. Drew anwsered like a pro haha everyone thought he was so romantic. Except when they asked him what his 3 favorite things about me were and there was a long pause.

He proposed 9/30/09

I can't get a really good picture of the ring :(

So here is the story for all of you that want to know. While I was at work Drew asked me what I wanted to do for our date that night and we couldn't come up with any ideas so he said my mom had this idea to do a scavenger hunt. We both decided it could be fun and would give him something to do until I got off work. Drew, his mom, and sister made up clues and we went to Iggys (where we met), Red box (we always watch movie), the cheesecake factory to eat, and then to a look out point off of wasatch (where he said he fell in love with me after we did a little hike) he asked to watch the sunset on the hood of his car. He said he forgot something in his trunk and that's when he brought out 4 dozen roses and gave me a clue that said, "This is the last clue... I hope you say I DO" and when I looked up he was down on his knee and proposed! I love my ring! I had no clue it was coming (because he's always cute) until he brought out the flowers. It was the best night ever! Love you babe!

We're getting married!

I am marrying my dream man! About 2 years ago I started working at Iggys as a hostess and my first day during training I was told there was two attractive servers and as soon as Drew walked through the door I knew he was one. I went home and told my mom how cute this guy at work was so it was my goal to be noticed. In January I went to dinner with a couple friends and he happened to be our server so as a joke we wrote "For a good time call... " on our ticket and surprise surprise he text me the next day at work and asked me out! We went to Texas Roadhouse and went and saw I am Legend. He held my hand cause he was "scared". We dated for 6 months... took a break.. and then decided we couldn't live with out each other! The rest is history.
